Oceanis Birth Pool - What Are The Options For Filling?
There are two ways to fill your Oceanis Birth Pool depending on your space.
There are two ways to fill your Oceanis Birth Pool:
- Via an IPS Wall - purchase your own taps, filling spout & shower and arrange for them to be installed into the IPS wall
- Via the Factory Fit Integrated Electronic Water Filling System – the system is 100% pre-installed into the pool at the factory
If your pool is going to be installed against an IPS wall, then either of these options will work.
If your pool is going to be freestanding in the room, it would be much simpler to select the factory fit filling system; otherwise, you will need to consider an alternative method of filling it.
Filling via the IPS wall:
- Select your own fixtures - Choose the taps and filling spout you prefer
- Installation - The installer will cut into the IPS wall to fit the filling spout and taps. Consider the cost of new IPS wall panels
- Connection - Position the pool against the wall and connect the drain and electrics (for lighting, if applicable)
Filling via the factory fit filling system:
- Pre-Installed System - The filling system comes pre-installed in the pool
- Simple Set-Up – Position the pool against the wall & connect the hot and cold water supply, drain and electrics (for lighting, if applicable)
The factory fit integrated filling system is likely to cost more than choosing your own taps for an IPS wall system, but it simplifies the process.
There is no need to choose a spout or taps, nor worry about replacing or modifying an IPS wall.
The integrated system only needs to be connected to the utilities, and the pool is ready for use, reducing installation time.
Additionally, the integrated system includes an auto shut-off sensor to prevent accidental over-filling, reducing the risk of flooding.
