Integrated Underwater LED Lights

Integrated underwater LED lights (sold as a pair) and shipped with the vast majority of our pools. These lights serve multiple purposes: they enhance visibility within the water and eliminate the need for submerged torches which pose an infection control risk. Additionally, they offer the flexibility of multi-coloured lighting, allowing users to create mood-enhancing atmospheres. Clinically, these lights are often recommended for their operational benefits.

Integrated Electronic Water Filling System

Our integrated electronic water filling system offers convenience and safety features. It includes a filling spout, thermostatic mixer valve for temperature control, button-push auto-fill function, and a handheld shower with an externally mounted holder. Moreover, it's equipped with an auto-shut-off sensor to prevent over-filling or flooding (in case the midwife is called away for an emergency).  This factory-fitted system also reduces installation time as the pools arrive fully equipped and ready for connection to utilities and waste.

Entry / Exit Steps

Entry/exit steps with a handrail are another popular addition. Birth pools have to be fairly deep to accommodate enough water for immersion but this can make entry challenging, particularly for individuals with mobility issues or pelvic girdle pain. Steps and a handrail enhance safety during both entry and exit, especially considering the physical exertion and potential lightheadedness associated with leaving the pool.

External Shell Colour

The external shell of our pool comes standard in white (RAL 9010), but can be customized to match room designs using different RAL colors, offering a visually cohesive look. Notably, the inner shell remains white to aid in visual assessments.

Integrated Steel Handles

Factory-fitted integrated steel handles serve as aids for repositioning within the pool, offering users a point of fixation if they need it.QE Gateshead 6

Underbody LED Lighting

Underbody LED lighting adds mood-enhancing illumination underneath the pool's floor area, creating a floating effect.

Starry Sky Ceilings

Enhancing the ambience above our birth pools, Starry Sky Ceilings offer a delightful touch, especially with our Avocado 4 design, perfectly matched to the shape of the Oceanis pool below. The ceiling features a midnight blue back panel, illuminated by twinkling LED white lights to simulate a starry night sky. Additionally, edge lighting between the main ceiling and the sky ceiling can be customised in color to harmonize with the room's atmosphere, controllable via remote.

Bluetooth Speakers

Bluetooth speakers, installed between the internal and external shells, offer users the option to play their chosen playlist, providing a permanent audio solution. Though more expensive than standalone speakers, they offer a fixed, immovable solution.

Heat Retention Mat

Our heat retention mat, positioned beneath the pool, maintains warmth by delaying heat transfer through the surface, reducing the frequency of warm water top-ups.

Digital Temperature Display

A digital temperature display integrated into the pool's external shell provides a constant readout of the water temperature, serving as a useful secondary check alongside calibrated thermometers.
