Medwarm Neonatal Warming Mattress Cleaning Instructions
This contains all of the cleaning information for the Medwarm Neonatal Warming Mattress.

Cleaning and Disinfection
- Control units, mattresses, and blankets must be disinfected before and after use.
- Disconnect all power and cables before cleaning.
- Use colourless, residue-free disinfectants suitable for medical surfaces.
- Compatible disinfectants include 70% ethanol, Fugaten spray derivatives, and chlorine-based solutions with concentration of <10,000ppm.
- Do not immerse, autoclave, or machine-wash the units or pads.
Control Unit:
The entire surface, cable and control unit should be wiped with a cloth, moistened with suitable disinfectant - do not spray directly onto the control unit. Then wipe with a cloth dampened with water before drying, to remove any residue.
Mattress/Blanket:
Moisten a cloth with suitable disinfectant and clean all surfaces. After disinfection, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water to remove residues and then pat dry. Failure to rinse and dry may affect the longevity of the mattress/blanket cover and invalidate the warranty.

Handling and Storage
- Store pads flat, dry, and away from sunlight and humidity. Do not fold or compress excessively.
- Avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on stored pads.
- Mattress should be inspected before each use to ensure integrity.
