General Information
What is the Isotherm Radiant Warmer used for?
The Isotherm Radiant Warmer is designed to preheat examination and infant changing tables, and to support maintained body temperature for neonates.
What type of heating technology does the Isotherm use?
The Isotherm uses a ceramic heating element that emits infrared radiation in the 3µm range, which is effectively absorbed by the skin and safe for the eyes.

How do I turn on the Isotherm Radiant Warmer?
Press the ON/OFF key on the front panel. The device starts at heating level 1 (20% output).

What are the heating levels and their default outputs?
- Level 1: 20% – Preheating or continuous operation
- Level 2: 50% – Normal use
- Level 3: 75% – Additional heat during procedures
- Level 4: 98% – Maximum heat for adult use
How is heat output monitored?
A yellow LED indicator flashes at different rates depending on the heat level.
How does the LED examination light function?
The LED examination light has two brightness levels (20% and 100%) and switches off automatically after 20 minutes unless adjusted.

What are the minimum installation distances for safe operation?
- At least 80 cm between the radiant warmer and the surface
- At least 50 cm between the radiant warmer and the ceiling
Can the Isotherm be used in explosive environments?
No, it must not be operated in areas with flammable gases or flammable cleaning agents.
What precautions should be taken during use?
- Never touch the heater or protective grid during operation
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the LED light
- Do not leave patients unattended
What happens if the alarm is not acknowledged?
The heat output automatically reduces to 20% for safety.
