Cleaning & Disinfection
The Croyde Co-Sleeper Cot and the mattress should be cleaned separately from each other using a manual scrubbing/wiping method.
Cleaning the Cot
Frequency:
- Cleansing wipe disinfection after each patient use.
- Daily visual check for any dirt, soiling or damage to the product.
Method
- In accordance with the established hygiene plan, use cleansing disinfectant wipes, moistened with disinfectant solution.
- Clean all of the bed framework, including siderail.
- Allow to air dry in a room with good ventilation.
- After drying, visually inspect the varnished surfaces.
Cleaning the Mattress
- Cleansing wipe disinfection after each patient use.
- Daily visual check for any dirt, soiling or damage to the product.
- The mattress must not be washed, bleached or ironed and no dry-cleaning solvents should be used.
General Cleaning Guidance
The unit is designed for repeated use in hospitals. You can clean with approved wipes and disinfectant solutions for infection control.
Leave Croyde Co-Sleeper Cot to air dry in a well ventilated area before replacing mattress.
